The Purpose of the Clay Township Independent Volunteer Fire Department of Bartholomew County INC. shall be to provide fire suppression, rescue services, and emergency medical support to the designated area of Bartholomew County as out lined by the township government with whom contracts are signed. To provide mutual aid to all fire departments in Bartholomew County and all surrounding counties upon request, and to provide aid and assistance to law enforcement and/or Emergency preparedness officials when requested.
