Engine 91 is a 2012 Emergency one commercial cab fire engine. Engine 91 is first out of our station 91 for all structure fires and vehicle accidents in clay township. Engine 91 can seat 5 firefighters, holds 1,000 gallons of water, and other various equipment used in service to our community. Engine 91 was purchased new with the help of a grant.
Engine 92 is a 1989 Spartan Gladiator 4 Guys Custom Cab Fire Engine. Engine 92 is first out of our station 92 for all structure fires in clay township. Engine 92 can seat 10 firefighters, holds 1,000 gallons of water, and other various equipment used in service to our community. Engine 92 was purchased used from Preston Fire Department in New York State.
Tanker 93 is a 1993 Ford L8000 Deep South Tanker. Tanker 93 is second out of station 92 for all structure fires in clay township. Tanker 93 is first out for all mutual aid fires and can be requested by any fire department in the state of Indiana. Tanker 93 holds 3,000 gallons of water, our hazmat spill response equipment, and is the heaviest truck clay township owns.
Brush truck 94 is a 1995 GMC 3500. Brush 94 is first out of station 91 for all EMS calls and grass/field fires. Brush 94 holds 250 gallons of water and is capable of pumping water while the vehicle is moving. You can see in the picture that Brush 94 is not afraid to get off road and get her tires dirty.
Rescue 95 is the newest addition to the Clay Township Volunteer Fire Department. Rescue 95 is a 2016 Ford F350. Rescue 95 was purchased with funds donations received from community members like YOU!! Rescue 95 is the first out from station 92 on all EMS, Vehicle Accidents, and Grass/Field Fires. Rescue 95 is equipped with our jaws of life, 250 gallons of water, and EMS equipment to aid persons in distress.
Light wagon 97 is a Cummins Onan genset on a trailer. This unit has various lighting equipment that aids us in night operations.
